| We feel the Lowline Angus Cattle breeders have such a wide range of options with such an excellent breed. The time has come too look at grazing cattle on smaller acreages and be profitable. The Lowline's have a stocking rate of approximately 2.2 to 1 allowing smaller acreage places to keep the agricultural zoning. This is becoming a huge issue in most states. The Lowline can be raised for profit, for personal meat source or as a pet either way these docile little cows can fit just about anyones needs. The commercial cow person will also benifit from using the Lowline in the ranches operations. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| By using the Lowline bulls on heifers will allow the heifers to calve easily giving birth to a calf weighing around 45-55 pounds. With these calves vigor and growth rate the calves will excel and allow the heifer to stay in shape for rebreeding the next season. We are using the Lowline bulls on the entire herd giving us excellent growth calves, great feed reductions and ease of calving. This is not to mention the increased rib eye size and great marbling benefits that go along with the Lowline breed.
